Cloth Diapers vs. Disposables Cost

I recently came across an article on parents.com about how cloth diapering isn't the same as how hour grandmas used to do it. A major issue with cloth diapering is that many disposable fans say that cloth diapering is so expensive to start up. But..it doesn't have to be that way. Many advocates of cloth diapering say to start out small..maybe just one cloth diaper a day, or only do cloth diapers when you are at home. There are many possibilities!

According to the article from parents.com "If you go cloth and launder them yourselves, the cost over three years will be between $800 and $1100, half as much as disposables. And diapering a second child will only cost you the laundering (about $400 for three years)"
